松枝 恭子
5歳からバイオリンを始める。と共に、絵を描きなぐる日々を過ごす。
京都の美大に入学後は、デザインや写真などの制作活動に勤しむ。
卒業後は、広告デザインの仕事に従事するが、
バイクでの転倒による鎖骨の骨折をきっかけに
人前で歌うことと、作詞、作曲を始める。
その後、知人の勧めにより東京に移住し、
音楽活動を本格的に開始。
ライブに出演したり、様々な音楽作品に参加する。
現在は、歌手やナレーション、作詞・作曲に携わるなど、様々な場に活動を広げている。
アレクサンダーテクニークとの出会いは、
歌においての声の不調や伸び悩みが続き、色々な対策を試み藻搔いていた時。
もともと耳の不調（耳管開放症やめまい）などを患った経験などから、
心身のケアに興味があったこともあり、レッスンに通い始める。
レッスンを受ける中で、自分自身の様々な分野での改善が見られたことから、このメソッドを深く興味を持ち、英国アレクサンダーテクニーク指導者協会(STAT)に認定された、教師養成学校に入学。
3年間(1600時間以上)の訓練を受け、STATの教師資格を取得する。
現在は、様々な業種の方にアレクサンダーテクニークを教えると共に、関連する他分野の学習なども行なっている。
Kyoko Matsueda Profile
Born in Japan, Kyoko Matsueda learned to play the violin as a child as she developed her love for orchestral music, and the piano under the influence of her mother. She also immersed herself in drawing. In 1994, she began her studies in design at the Kyoto University of Art and Design, and after graduating from the school, she pursued her career as a graphic designer and later a web designer. During her college days, she also worked as a model for hair shows, advertisement of the kimono,etc.
In her twenties, Kyoko set her mind on becoming a singer and guitar player as well as a lyric writer and composer. As she performed, she gained a reputation for her unique, soothing voice and followed a friend’s advice to move to Tokyo and seek a career as a musician. Ever since, she has appeared in a number of live shows and been involved in various art works as a singer, lyric writer, composer, and narrator.
She first took lessons in the Alexander Technique after she started to suffer problems with her vocal cords and ears including constant dizziness and patulous Eustachian tube. Her interest in balancing mind and body led her to take the teachers training course, the only school in Asia that has been approved by the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (STAT). There she received over 1,600 hours of training. She currently gives lessons as a STAT certified teacher.
